Hello to all our readers! Well, May is finally here and summer is well on its way, at least in some places! For those in New Zealand, I think they are getting ready for winter.

I found out from one of our subscribers that there is a young adult gathering and hiking in the company of two SSPX priests, conducted by Fathers Young and Father Angele. According to flyers I have seen, there is going to be an "Adults of Catholic Tradition" (Ages 18-30) event in Moodus, Connecticut from July 25 - 30 this year. It is basically a young adults gathering with 2 priests who will give daily Mass and give conferences. Attendance is limited to 50 persons. Cost is $350 (including food, room, transportation, outdoor events like canoeing and hiking, daytrip to Boston, etc.). The only thing it doesn't include is airfare to CT. Even if you can't go, please spread the word to other Traditional minded Catholics who might have an interest!

Now I know some people prefer to meet others "the natural way." Well, it is sometimes hard to meet other Catholics if they don't live in the same area and it can we be costly to travel all over the country. Sometime people feel that if it is meant to be, it will just happen. Some also feel that this "get-together" is an abnormal way to meet. But I think we should be a little pro-active, just like we are in our faith and not be so dormant, and make an attempt to go to fun activities where there is a possibility to meet new friends, and maybe a relationship. I am sure if you make some effort, God does reward such endeavors. The parish I go to has the priest there attempting to have outings with the young people. He meets with the girls and boys, though separately, where he gives them conferences on proper conduct and takes a serious interest in their future and progress in life's path. This is also what one can do in one's own parrish. The youth is where the focus needs to be, as this is the future of Catholic men and women. Idleness can lead to so many paths down the wrong trail and is the devils advocate to distraction.
