"Spiritual Combat" by Lorenzo Scupoli (available from Sophia Institute Press)

- this is simply a brilliant book, a must read for anyone and everyone. I have to admit I am reading it far to quickly, but taking the example of St. Francis de Sales I will keep it always within reach and use it for meditation.

- recently I finally got a copy of the Haydock Bible - it is great! I'm getting rid of all the ones in English I used in college...
