About me
| About me: | I was born and raised in the N.O but converted to traditional Catholicism in 2004. I live a fairly quiet life and keep to myself alot due to circumstance with no other trad Catholics here with whom I can spend time. I am anti-feminist, and think that wearing skirts/dresses, staying home and raising a family is something to be proud of, not dread and be ashamed of. My main goal in life is to get to Heaven and I try to aim all my efforts towards that end, and that includes who I choose to hang out with, what music I listen to, movies I watch and anything else. I am a caretaker for my sick mother with whom I live. I enjoy nature; hiking; the beach; visiting animals on a farm; the symphony; traditional medicine and natural health; gardening; cooking/baking; tea parties; picnics; BBQ's; restaurants (fine dining); cafes; visiting wineries/ wine tasting; walks in the park; scenic walks and long drives through the countryside; cruising down a river and admiring the scenery; dancing and having parties with family and friends (actually I prefer small gatherings of family and friends than big events); watching old classic films (on dvd); reading about lives of the Saints; and listening to Gregorian Chant, classical music, celtic music, operatic music, and some music from the 30's 40's & 50's era. I also enjoy Catholic pilgrimages - I have been to Lourdes, Fatima, and Santiago de Compostela (Spain). |
